“Vamos a aprender Purépecha” is an app designed more as a game than as a language class. It is very easy to navigate for that reason. The app was developed by the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico and its main purpose is to expose people to the language, be that native speakers who what to continue practicing or beginners who want to begin to learn Purépecha. It is convenient that the user can listen to pronunciation of the words. However, the sound also includes music at a loud volume, which can prevent users that are hard of hearing from properly distinguishing the pronunciation of the words. The app has a glossary within each lesson, where the words and phrases are translated from Purépecha to Spanish.
